Request your repeat prescriptions

You will be able to request your repeat prescriptions quickly online by logging into your account and simply selecting the appropriate boxes. You can review the progress of your repeat prescriptions and any message that the practice may have sent to you.

Other issues for you to be aware of when registering for online services:

Patients reaching 12 years of age

The General Medical Council’s view, due to Fraser guidelines, which is a term originating in England and is used in medical law to decide whether a child (16 years or younger) is able to consent to his or her own medical treatment, without the need for parental permission or knowledge, is that persons aged 12 to 15 years should not be included for online access. We can no longer, therefore, allow access for persons in this age group, any access already given will be removed at 12 years. The patient can reapply for online access upon reaching 16 years.

Repeat medication can be ordered either in writing at any surgery or via a pharmacy once the person has signed up for their services.
