The Hadwen Health Patient Participation Group acts as the patient voice, promoting a patient-led culture and ensuring local views shape the care we provide.
The aim of the PPG is – Be a Patient voice: Promoting a patient-led culture
The PPG aims to:
- Work alongside the partnership and practice staff of Hadwen Health to promote continuous improvement
- Ensure that patient and carer experiences are at the heart of our service
- Support and strengthen the relationship between the practice its patients, carers, and local community
- Advise the practice on the patient perspective, providing insight into the responsiveness and quality of services based on review of experience feedback
- Review with the practice management feedback received by or about the practice (e.g. Friends and Family Test (FFT), patient surveys, anonymised compliments, comments, concerns, and complaints.) Where feasible, the PPG will suggest actions in response to feedback that may be progressed by the practice
- Offer patients different ways to offer feedback on their experiences with the practice

We’re looking for new volunteers — including admin support — to join our friendly, community-focused team.
This is a voluntary role and a great opportunity to give back, influence local healthcare, and develop professional skills
Meetings:
Held quarterly on a midweek evening for around 90 minutes at Hadwen Health.
Joining the PPG is a rewarding way to:
- Make a real difference in your community
- Help shape local health services
- Gain valuable experience for your personal or professional growth
We’re seeking a diverse mix of members to reflect our community, and there will be opportunities for future volunteer roles as the group expands.
