All those with babies under 12 months old, or currently pregnant, are warmly invited to join us for a gentle walk on World Maternal Mental Health Day on Wednesday 6th May 2026.
For more information please visit: www.wmmhday.org
Maternal mental health matters because the transition to parenthood can be both joyful and challenging, and every parent deserves support, connection, and understanding.
The walk will start outside Abbeymead Community Centre at 10.30am, will last for approximately one hour, and will be led by our Social Prescribing Link Workers. There will then be the opportunity to purchase refreshments in the Community Centre café after the walk, for those who wish to continue their conversations.
There is no need to register, please just read the disclaimer below, and turn up on the day, babies obviously very welcome too!
