eConsult Update

We have taken the decision to permanently switch off the eConsult online consultation system. This decision has not been taken lightly and has been made after several audits of eConsult have determined that overall, it is an inefficient use of our limited resources. These inefficiencies have now become more critical due to GP shortages.

We recognise that for some this decision will come as a disappointment; we will strive though to ensure that a more efficient online consultation system is available as soon as one is procured by our Clinical Commissioning Group. In the meantime, we will continue to refine our systems and procedures to ensure the best possible pathways exist for all clinical and administrative issues that need the Practice’s attention, and will shortly publish a FAQ sheet detailing the quickest and most efficient ways to access the most appropriate support that we are able to provide.
