We have been made aware of a scam involving fake texts telling people that they are eligible for COVID 19 vaccinations:
We will shortly begin using text messages to inform people that they are eligible for their COVID-19 vaccinations, if we have details of their mobile phone number recorded. The text will include a link that will take those eligible to an appointment booking screen. We obviously won’t be asking for personal bank details!
We have now invited all patients aged 80 and over, who are not housebound, for their COVID-19 vaccination and will be inviting the remaining cohorts in the following order:
- All those aged 75-79
- All those aged 70-74 or COVID-19 high risk
- All those aged 65-69
- All those aged 16-64 with underlying health conditions
- All those aged 60-64
- All those aged 55-59
- All those aged 50-54
We have not yet received details of the vaccination schedule for those aged under 50 who do not have underlying health conditions.
All vaccinations will take place at our local designated COVID-19 vaccination hub: Rosebank surgery, 153b Stroud Road, Gloucester, GL1 5JQ. This will enable us to continue to safely use our building for all urgent and routine appointments.
